About Eisenmann Woodworking:
Eisenmann Woodworking specializes in traditionally inspired Early
American Furniture and Cabinetry with an emphasis on Shaker, Country
Formal, and Primitives. Construction methods are traditional joinery,
including mortise and tenon, dovetail and dadoe construction. Furniture
pieces are all hardwood construction from a variety of woods depending
on its formality and finish. Cabinetry are all hardwood frames, doors and
drawers, with cases being built of either solid hardwood or 3/4" A1
cabinet grade maple plywood. All Furniture and Cabinetry utilizes the best
quality hardware from solid brass or wrought iron to full extension drawer
slides and custom designed audio/video lifts. Finishes range from dyed
and lacquered, to hand rubbed wax, to hand painted murals in milk paint,
to heavily distressed primitives with upwards of 3 levels of paint history.
We take great pride in our unique finishes and designs and look forward
to making your vision a reality.
Our Pledge:
We stand behind every piece we design and build. As with all solid wood
furniture, seasonal movement is to be expected. This movement is due
to temperature and humidity changes that cause the wood to expand and
contract. We use time tested construction methods to allow for these
seasonal movements (Breadboard ends, Frame and Panel Construction),
but recommend avoiding placement of pieces in areas most susceptible to
large temperature and humidity swings (direct sunlight, near a wood
stove, etc.) As with many of the Antiques that gave inspiration, the
natural movements of wood may show slight shrinkage or splitting.
Should any piece experience excessive movement then we will repair or
replace as needed.
